The Galileo Plus is a centrifugal oil mist filtration unit, used to provide control of the mist that is generated from neat oil and emulsions used on machine tools. The Galileo Plus is also suitable for use on applications where particulate is present within the oil mist.

Inovative design

The Galileo Plus is available with an optional “Clipper” after filter which increases filtration efficiency to 99.97%.
High efficiency multilayer filter fitted as standard.
Energy saving motors fitted as standard which ensures low energy consumption.
Easy mounting direct to the machine or a floor mounted stanchion.
Innovative design allows for easy cost effective maintenance and servicing.

The Galileo Plus is available in five models with flow rates from 325 to 3500m3/hr. The unit is fitted with a special impeller which is designed to prevent material settlement upon its surface. This helps to prevent vibration and noise that is associated with material settlement upon impeller surfaces.

High Efficiency Multistage Filtration

The combination of the impeller, centrifugal action and a high efficiency multilayer filter guarantees a high level of filtration can be achieved. The multilayer Filters are positioned after the centrifugal action of the impeller which reduces the particulate loading on the filters ensuring a long service life and reduced running costs.

High Efficiency energy saving motors

Inspired by Blue Philosophy, the Galileo Plus uses high efficiency energy saving motors which ensure reduced energy consumption.

High efficiency filter materials

The filter materials used within the Galileo Plus are stress tested within LOSMA laboratories to check for compatibility, with the different types of neat oils and emulsions that are available on the open market.

High Efficiency " Clipper Plus" After Filter

The Galileo Plus is available with an optional “Clipper” after filter cartridge for micro-mist, smoke & vapours. With the optional "Clipper" after filter fitted, filtration efficiency is increased to 99.97%.

High Efficiency "G-Guard" Pre-Filtration module

The LOSMA G-Guard Pre-filtration module is used as an initial pre-separation unit for applications with a high dust / swarf loading.

The G-Guard effectively removes dust, swarf and chips from oil mist laden process air which prevents premature failure of the main filters. The Guard contains a reusable / washable mesh filter.

The Galileo Plus filtration units mounts directly to the to of the G-Guard unit.
